Joining RSPCA Queensland as a Community Fundraiser in 2019, Jennifer successfully raised $12,300 by organising puppy yoga classes and red carpet events.
Jennifer says, “I am very passionate about RSPCA and I am a huge animal lover. I want to continue to help animals, enlighten people and change people’s lives." Jennifer has continued donating her time and experience, hosting ongoing events to raise much needed funds.
“I’ve had the honour of meeting Oprah Winfrey and my favourite quote of hers is, ‘For me a home without dogs is like a library without books’.”
Jennifer is a proud Dog Mum of two Jack Russells – 12-year-old Charlie girl and Eddie boy who is 8 years of age. “They bring so much joy into my life. I love them so much!”
Jacqueline has fundraised for RSPCA on several occasions over the years during exhibitions within her gallery ‘Art at Heart’.
She says, “I have been running my little art business for many years and I love to regularly support the RSPCA. Since I was little I always wanted to help animals and the work the RSPCA does to educate and lessen the suffering of animals is second to none. I have personally volunteered as a foster carer for many years, which exposed me to some of the cruelty that young animals were subjected to and rescued from. It’s a lifelong dream for me to have animals living in harmony with human beings, so the RSPCA is my charity of choice.”
