These are a few of our community's fundraisers

Jacqueline
Jacqueline has fundraised for RSPCA on several occasions over the years during exhibitions within her gallery ‘Art at Heart’.
She says, “I have been running my little art business for many years and I love to regularly support the RSPCA. Since I was little I always wanted to help animals and the work the RSPCA does to educate and lessen the suffering of animals is second to none. I have personally volunteered as a foster carer for many years, which exposed me to some of the cruelty that young animals were subjected to and rescued from. It’s a lifelong dream for me to have animals living in harmony with human beings, so the RSPCA is my charity of choice.”

Lois & Linda Brett
"We have always had animals growing up, and it was very much instilled into us the correct way to treat a pet. Both of us are now furmums to both a dog and a cat each these days, and we would definitely rescue a whole house full if we could.
That’s why we decided to start fundraising for RSPCA Qld, so we can help other furkids find a proper home with the family they were meant to be with. We run cupcake stalls throughout the year raising money, and also host a “donation drive” with the Coles store Lois works at. The customers are very generous by donating food and items for all types of animals!"

Colin & Jan Grassick
Colin & Jan have been volunteering at RSPCA Noosa for some time, helping cats settle in to the shelter and videoing them for the Facebook page to help find them homes. In 2018, they took up the challenge of collecting donations each and every Saturday at the Yandina Markets (rain or shine!). The market shoppers are very generous, and to date Colin & Jan have raised an incredible $14,000!
