Love and care for all animals

By Ali Corbett

Lisa's love for animals

In memory of Lisa's life and love for animals the family asks that instead of flowers a charitable donation can be made to the RSPCA.

Auntie Lisa (Auntie to Ginger), is the most considerate, caring and compassionate person. Recently on a trip to Bali every night Lisa placed out water and food for the stray dogs in the park. Whilst monitoring local social media sites on pets, Lisa ran to the aid of a Broadbeach lady who's cat had been missing for some weeks and found the cat on a nearby building site. This followed with many check-in calls and food drop offs to show support. There was nothing that touched Lisa's heart more than the welfare of animals and nobody that she would not run to to help.

RSPCA QLD rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes animals across the state, caring for over 52,000 animals every year. It is the only charitable body responsible for investigating and prosecuting cruelty cases within Queensland, with the Inspectorate receiving over 18,000 reports of cruelty last year. RSPCA QLD care for wildlife, domestic and farm animals, providing a safe space for animals with less than 4% government funding annually.

Together we can make a difference in the lives of the animals of Queensland. Thank you!
