I'M GETTING BEAT UP IN THE NAME OF CHARITY.. CARE TO DONATE?


Later this year I will be entering the boxing ring, in front of hundreds of people, to go three rounds head to head in a real boxing match. I am doing this via Fight for a Cause, and in support of the RSPCA.

I have joined up with Fight for a Cause, a great initiative run by some impressive men that want to give back and support as many charities as possible. 

Over the next 10 weeks I will be training and learning to box so I can compete in a real fight on 25th September 2021 at the RNA Showgrounds. It is a black tie event which last year had 900 attendees, and tickets can be purchase via the Fight for a Cause website (or this direct link: https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing?eid=776785&).

I'm not a boxer, not even close, and I'm pretty sure I have long term damage to my wrist from when I broke it snowboarding and never let it heal properly (oops, probs shouldn't have cut that cast off early with a pair of garden secateurs and help from my mum) BUT I want to try new things, I like to get active and I love anything that supports those less fortunate than myself. I am also a very determined person and I am going to give this training my all because I plan on winning my fight!!!

Help my endeavour to rescue and support animals by donating to RSPCA QLD.

RSPCA QLD rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes animals across the state, caring for over 52,000 animals every year. It is the only charitable body responsible for investigating and prosecuting cruelty cases within Queensland. RSPCA QLD care for wildlife, domestic and farm animals, and provide a safe space for animals all while getting less than 3% government funding annually.

Together we can make a difference in the lives of the animals of Queensland. Thank you!
