Help us raise $1200 to purhcase Equipmnet for Anaimal Rescues

We are for doing things our own way and will be raising funds for one of our favourite charities, RSPCA QLD.

This Year's Charity is the RSPCA - Rescue Division

All the profits raised from this years Charity Calendar Sales will go to purchasing equipment that is desperately needed.

To give back, we will be donating all profits to the Rescue Team at RSPCA. Their efforts and dedication to helping us rescue a stray baby kitten from under our slab was nothing short of amazing. Although the kitten was rescued, his condition was critical and it was best for him to be put to sleep. With the efforts of the RSPCA Rescue Team , Logan Fire Department, and a Plumber helping over 2 days and after talks with Mary in the Rescue Team, he was too ill to be kept alive.
We also learnt that day, the RSPCA solely rely donation only and if they had better equipment we may have been able to save the sweet kitten.

We are so grateful for Mary and the Team for showing compassion in a situation that was just so hard to deal with. We are forever grateful and want to give back any way possible. There dedication and loyalty to helping animals in need is just amazing and each and everyone of them should be rewarded in some way.

With our donations and Calendar sales, we hope they will be able to update equipment so no animal is left to suffer again. Dennison also has plans to alter a camera that can go into pipes with a longer extension, in hopes that detecting where an animal is and what might be stopping them from freeing themselves. This is something we were not able to do, as we were not able to accurately see the layout of the pipe that the kitten had slipped and fell in to.

If you wish to purchase our calendar or make a donation, please look out for the post with details shortly.

Like, Share and Comment to help raise funds and to spread awareness for a much needed cause.

Thank you so much for any support you may be able to give them. ❤

View Point for the Rescue

Thursday 19th Sep
This was the only view point we had of where our kitten was. About half a meter more and there was our sweet kitten stuck. What we couldn't see into the darkness was a split pipe that had been pushed down, this was what was stopping him walking free on his own.

If RSPCA had a better and longer camera we would have known this and he could have been saved much sooner than his 40 hour ordeal.

Sleeping the first night was impossible, as we could hear our kitten calling out every so often, Letting us know he was a fighter.

Continuing into the next day, we all had high spirits for a good outcome.

Such a blessing having this team come to our aid when we needed them the most.

Wednesday 4th Sep
I have never contacted RSPCA in my whole life, i have had had many cats and dogs over my life and never needed them.  To have a kitten trapped, and hearing its call just broke our hearts. Not been able to locate the kitten was even more heart breaking.  Fearing the worst, we tried our best but that just wasn't enough.

A call to RSPCA and we had help on the way.
