Margie's Virtual Trek 2024

I am taking on the Overland Track virtual trek in support of RSPCA Queensland

RSPCA Queensland rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes animals across the state, caring for over 51,000 animals every year. It is the only charitable body responsible for investigating and prosecuting cruelty cases within Queensland, with the Inspectorate receiving over 17,800 reports of cruelty last year. RSPCA Queensland care for domestic animals, farm animals and wildlife, and rely on the community for 96% of their annual funding.

I will be trekking 70km in support of RSPCA and the animals in their care! Please support my virtual trek challenge with a donation - together we can make a difference in the lives of the animals of Queensland.

Everything is possible...just not all at once.

Wednesday 3rd Jan

Baby steps guys. I'm working from home today and the kids were out the door on their way to daycare. I had 10 minutes before I started work so I decided to jump on the bike and start chipping away at this mammoth goal.

Without thinking, I chose a shirt today that says it all, but it should have a footnote saying "* just not all at once." As I sat on the bike I cringed at the unfolded washing and the toys out of place but you know what? I chose to ignore it and get 2km done on the bike because that's the biggest impact I could make in 10mins. I'll get to the mess later.
