We are for doing things our own way and will be raising funds for one of our favourite charities, RSPCA QLD.
RSPCA QLD rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes animals across the state, caring for over 52,000 animals every year. It is the only charitable body responsible for investigating and prosecuting cruelty cases within Queensland, with the Inspectorate receiving over 17,800 reports of cruelty last year. RSPCA QLD care for wildlife, domestic and farm animals, providing a safe space for animals with less than 3% government funding annually.
Together we can make a difference in the lives of the animals of Queensland. Thank you!

Supporting Animals in Need – Student Council x RSPCA
Sunday 3rd AugOver the past two years, Middle Park State School Student Council Representatives have proudly partnered with the RSPCA, dedicating their efforts to supporting animals in need. Throughout the term, Student Council representatives have met weekly to discuss ideas on how to successfully fundraise for the RSPCA and to plan the exciting activities for their annual RSPCA Fundraising Week.
Each year, RSPCA Fundraising Week includes a variety of fun and engaging lunchtime activities open to all students, with all proceeds going to help animals in need.
This year, we were fortunate to welcome Estelle, a dedicated RSPCA staff member, to one of our meetings. Estelle shared valuable insight into the incredible work the RSPCA does for animals and wildlife, and how their success depends on generous donations and the efforts of volunteers. During her visit, Student Council members shared their plans and received feedback on how to make this year’s fundraising even more successful.
Through their commitment and collaboration, the Student Council continues to make a meaningful difference, while fostering compassion, leadership, and community spirit across our school.
